Installing an industrial tipper within your facility guarantees innumerable benefits, mainly related to the possibility of automating your production processes, making them more efficient, faster, and safer for operators.
In fact, a tipper allows you to quickly, controlled, and automatically manage the process of tipping containers containing products or production residues, which would otherwise have to be done manually, with less efficient and riskier methods.
Industrial tippers can be used with excellent results in a wide variety of industrial sectors, and if equipped with special accessories such as dosing hoppers, vibro-conveyors or vibro-sieves, they allow you to achieve extremely high performance in terms of material selection and correct treatment, in view of its subsequent processing stages.
The technology underlying these machines can also be exploited within plants that produce and process plastic granules. To achieve this, it is necessary to design and implement machines with special characteristics: this is the case of CAMEC's hopper tippers.
CAMEC's hopper tippers
CAMEC designs, manufactures, and installs special tippers capable of managing the 180° tipping of octabins containing plastic granules.
The peculiarity of this type of tippers is given by the presence of a tipping hopper, mounted on a stainless steel upper hopper, equipped with a suction outlet that allows the material to be aspirated.
The machine's operating cycle involves placing the octabin on a pallet positioned inside the tipper and blocking it using pneumatically operated levers. Once the octabin is correctly positioned and blocked, the tipping hopper is pushed down by a hydraulic piston, until it rests completely on the container, closing its upper part. At this point, the machine automatically starts the process of tipping the octabin, which is rotated 180°.
When the container is completely overturned, the tipping hopper is positioned below it, and it is possible to proceed with the suction of the contents of the octabin through a special tube placed by the operator. The plastic granules are then aspirated, either totally or partially depending on the plant's needs. Once the octabin is empty, it is possible to give the command for a new rotation of the tipper, so that the tipping hopper returns to its original position and a new cycle can start.
This particular tool is designed to make a particularly complex process quick and safe, and allows you to achieve excellent results in terms of efficiency and operator safety, who only needs to take care of the octabin loading phase using a forklift and connecting the suction tube. All other steps of the process (pneumatic blocking of the octabin, descent of the tipping hopper, machine rotation) are managed automatically, allowing you to significantly reduce working times.
