Continuous assistance, remote control, maintenance: all of CAMEC’s services

CAMEC has a decade-long experience in designing, manufacturing, and commissioning industrial shredders. Our expertise has been built over time by continuously working with our customers, responding to their needs, and accompanying them through all stages of the machine’s life - from design to maintenance after installation, to revamping. We have developed a range of services that allow us to offer the best to all customers who choose to rely on us, accompanying them over time and ensuring the perfect functionality of our shredders, balers, conveyor systems, and recycling plants.

From consultancy to customized project definition

CAMEC offers a personalized consultancy service to all its customers: from the design phase of the plants, our technicians listen to the companies’ needs and make an in-depth assessment of their requirements, the type and quantity of material they will need to process, their organization, the available space within their facilities, and so on. This assessment is essential to allow us to define a truly customized project in agreement with the customer, as well as to create a practical and functional layout of the plant and to correctly size and customize each machine.

This analysis phase is the first step that allows us to put into operation machines and plants capable of performing at their best in relation to the specific needs of the companies that will use them.

Installation and test run

After the customized project definition phase, CAMEC produces the machines, which are then installed and tested directly at the customer’s site. Our technicians personally install and set up the shredders, to verify that everything is in line with the project definition and to make any necessary adjustments to put the shredder in the best operating conditions

The installation and setup of the machine are completed with a test run: in agreement with the customer, some types of materials and/or waste are defined and our technicians conduct the necessary tests to verify that the machine is able to operate effectively. This step also allows the customer to directly evaluate the various functions of the machine and start familiarizing themselves with its use.

Operator training

CAMEC technicians are available to perform training sessions for all operators who will use the machines, which are necessary to make them quickly autonomous in managing the tools and to enable them to fully exploit their potential. The training takes place directly on the field and allows operators to familiarize themselves concretely with the machine they will use, ensuring maximum efficiency and reducing learning times.

The training service is offered during the installation phase, but the CAMEC staff remains available even later to provide additional training sessions for newly hired personnel or to illustrate further machine functions.

All the advantages of the MY CAMEC program

The operator training provided by CAMEC allows the customer’s personnel to quickly become autonomous in managing the shredders. This does not mean, however, that once the training is completed, our job is over: the CAMEC Service remains always available, in case of need, to provide consultancy or assistance, to plan ordinary or extraordinary maintenance interventions, to propose revamping interventions on the plants, and so on.

We have developed the MY CAMEC program, an extremely flexible service that allows each customer to organize their own personalized assistance program and take advantage of special conditions, discounts on spare parts, continuous assistance, and so on.

The MY CAMEC program allows us to put at the customer’s disposal, over time, a service tailored to their specific needs, offering:

  • Customer assistance, to address any issues and minimize response times in case of problems with the machines. Thanks to the possibility of remote control, CAMEC technicians can provide timely assistance to customers, quickly identifying the source of any problems or potential malfunctions. If remote control is not enough, it is still possible to schedule on-site interventions at the customer’s site. Remote control also allows us to evaluate from a distance whether each machine is functioning correctly or if its performance is below expectations, ensuring the possibility of intervening early and quickly in case of potential problems.
  • Scheduled maintenance service, to ensure that each machine is always perfectly performing and to optimize its performance over time. The frequency of ordinary maintenance interventions is defined in agreement with the customer, and it is also possible to schedule interventions during periods when the machine is used less intensively, to cause the least possible disruption to the company’s internal organization.
  • Spare parts supply, to minimize downtime and ensure that the customer always has an adequate stock of consumable materials and wear parts.
  • Residual life analysis, to concretely evaluate the efficiency of the machines in use and help customers define any necessary interventions to renew their equipment.

Revamping consultancy, to allow customers to evaluate the opportunity to perform specific interventions aimed at improving the efficiency of their existing shredders, without having to purchase new ones.
