CAMEC certifications: quality guarantee for recycling plants

Here are some of the certifications that CAMEC has obtained, testifying to our commitment to improving the performance of our tools:

• ISO 9001 certification: this certification guarantees the quality of the design and production process of CAMEC shredders and certifies the conformity of all components used and production processes, both individually and as a whole. The certification, recognized internationally, demonstrates the company's commitment to continuous improvement of its production, organizational structure and customer services, and thus also the quality of our post-sales services, from installation and commissioning of the machines to customer assistance.
• EN 1090 certification: this certification, which is mandatory and recognized internationally, governs the placing on the market of structural metal components and testifies to the conformity and safety of the metal structures of CAMEC shredders.

• ISO 14001 certification: unlike the EN 1090 certification, which is mandatory for companies operating in the sector, the ISO 14001 standard is voluntary and can be requested by companies that want to certify the quality of their environmental management system. Operating in the waste treatment sector also means paying particular attention to environmental issues, and it is for this reason that CAMEC has chosen to certify its environmental policy: the certification testifies to the company's commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its activities, limiting emissions and optimizing resource consumption.

SOA certification: the SOA certification, issued by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, certifies the technical-organizational quality of CAMEC's work and authorizes it to participate in public and private tenders for the execution of works. The certification does not only evaluate the quality and conformity of the products, but also certifies the respect of specific requirements related to the protection of workers' rights, fiscal transparency, safety and so on.

CAMEC has also recently joined the European program for the technological and digital transformation of companies towards Industry 4.0. This tool allows us to invest in the efficiency of our production system, with the aim of promoting digital transformation, making our products more competitive and improving the quality of the service we offer to our customers: it is an additional tool that allows us to improve our machinery and contribute to making the production realities that rely on us more competitive, efficient and sustainable.
