CIRCULAR ECONOMY GRANTS: €600 million from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) and up to 55% non-repayable grants

RECIPIENT COMPANIES

All companies predominantly engaged in goods and services activities, transportation activities, artisan enterprises producing goods, and companies engaged in auxiliary activities to the aforementioned.

 

ELIGIBLE PROJECT TYPES

  • MODERNIZATION (including expansions of existing plants) AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PLANTS for improving collection, logistics, and recycling of:
  • WEEE waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment, including photovoltaic panels and wind turbine blades;
  • paper and cardboard waste;
  • the CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PLANTS for plastic waste recycling (mechanical, chemical recycling, “Plastic Hubs”), including “Marine Litter” or plastic waste in the sea;
  • INFRASTRUCTURING of the collection of textile fractions pre-consumer and post-consumer, MODERNIZATION OF PLANTS AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PLANTS for recycling textile fractions in a systemic perspective (“Textile Hubs”).

 ELIGIBLE EXPENSES FOR CONTRIBUTION

Purchase of:

  1. new plants and machinery
  2. land
  3. construction works
  4. software and patents
  5. consultancies.

INCENTIVES

A non-repayable grant is provided:

  • 55% for small enterprises,
  • 45% for medium enterprises,
  • 35% of eligible costs for large enterprises.

TERMS

Applications can be submitted until February 15, 2022.
