A new mobility for recycling

DRM: the synthesis of Camec's experience in designing and building mobile shredders

Intelligence, power and reliability in motion

Since their launch on the market, the mobile shredders DRM475 and DRM650 have demonstrated their exceptional versatility and productivity directly in the field.

Their innovative configuration allows for the automated processing of a wide range of materials, such as municipal solid waste, bulky waste, plastics, wood, paper mill waste and more.

The DRM475 features a skid-steer or self-propelled structure. Each rotor consists of a cylindrical central shaft with welded blades.

The central counter-blade is positioned centrally below the blades and has a dual function: it determines the size of the material exiting the machine (based on its distance from the blades) and prevents long objects from passing through the blades undamaged, thus avoiding damage to the conveyor belt.

The DRM650 features a double-shaft slow-speed design and is a self-propelled machine with a hydraulic transmission.

The dual rotor is combined with the use of interchangeable tools and a screening grid that allows for a constant and controlled output material size. The rotating plates are quickly replaceable via a single bolt.

DRM475

The movement

The DRM475 features a skid-steer structure, making it easy to move the machine around the production area using a truck equipped with a hook.

The DRM650 features a self-propelled structure, making it autonomous and able to move around the production area using a diesel engine. This makes it the top-of-the-line machine in the Camec range, embracing the innovative concept of mobility that brings the machine closer to the material and not the other way around. Furthermore, in compliance with the latest European regulations on emissions, our shredders are equipped with Stage V engines that meet the European regulation 2016/1628.

Efficiency and reduced maintenance at the service of the customer

Designed for the targeted ejection of unshreddable materials, the mobile shredders DRM650 and DRM475 feature a shock-absorbing system that limits damage to the blades by automatically stopping the rotors in case of the presence of unshreddable materials.

Both machines are equipped with a hopper, shredding chamber, a conveyor belt with adjustable inclination and a de-ironing system mounted on the conveyor belt.
