CAMEC is exhibitor and ambassador at Ecomondo 2026: what it means and what you’ll find at our booth
From 3 to 6 November, CAMEC will be at Ecomondo, at the Rimini Exhibition Centre, as an ambassador of the event. At booth 303, Hall A1, covering 180 m² with a mezzanine, you’ll find our COBRA 1800 mobile shredder and our GL650 single-rotor grinder on display. Ecomondo is a unique opportunity to meet CAMEC’s technical and sales team.
When and where does Ecomondo 2026 take place?
Ecomondo 2026 takes place from 3 to 6 November at the Rimini Exhibition Centre. It is the 29th edition of the Italian Exhibition Group event dedicated to the green, blue and circular economy. According to figures released by the organiser, over 1,800 exhibiting brands are expected. They will cover approximately 169,000 gross m² across 30 halls. More than 1,000 hosted buyers from around the world are also expected, involved with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and of ICE, the Italian Trade Agency for the promotion and internationalisation of Italian companies.
What does it mean to be an Ecomondo ambassador?

Ecomondo reserves the ambassador role for a small group of selected exhibitors. For CAMEC, it means bringing a delegation of international partners and customers to Rimini as guests of the Ambassador Club, and putting them in direct contact with the Italian market.
“Being an ambassador allows us to bring a delegation of international partners to Ecomondo and put them in direct contact with the Italian market.”
Ecomondo rounds off a year of international presence: in 2026 CAMEC took part in IFAT Munich and IFAT India, Interpack and SRR Madrid. We will also be at WETEX in Dubai, within the Italian national pavilion organised by ICE.
Which machines is CAMEC bringing to Ecomondo 2026?
CAMEC will be exhibiting the COBRA 1800 mobile shredder, designed to work right where material is collected and stockpiled. It will also show the GL650 single-rotor grinder, dedicated to processing in fixed installations.
COBRA 1800, the mobile shredder that completes our range
The COBRA 1800 is the 2026 highlight of our booth. In the CAMEC range, it sits between the CONDOR 1500 and the CAYMAN 2400. The COBRA 1800’s synchronous twin-shaft system runs at low speed and high torque. This reduces vibration and wear, even when shredding heterogeneous materials such as wood, municipal solid waste, bulky waste, mattresses and tyres. The cutting chamber measures 1,100 x 1,800 mm and the magnetic separator is built in. The machine is radio-controlled, so it can be operated right next to the material pile.

“The fact that the COBRA 1800 on display has already been sold to an Italian customer confirms the market’s interest in our mobile range.”
GL650, the single-rotor grinder for fixed lines
The GL650 is a grinder with a 650 mm diameter single rotor and a low-speed hydraulic drive, designed for continuous operation within a processing line. Its monolithic electro-welded structure makes it robust and reliable, and so do its bearings, which are set well apart from the crushing zone. The planetary gearboxes support its performance, as does the automatic reversal that kicks in when non-shreddable material is detected. Output size is determined by the interchangeable screen. The machine can process materials such as aluminium, rigid plastics, oil filters, bulky waste, industrial waste and tyres. In Rimini you’ll find the GL650/21 version on display.
Why meet CAMEC at the fair?
At the booth, alongside the machines, you’ll meet our technicians, our sales team and the managers of our MY CAMEC after-sales service.
They are the people to talk to if you want to:
- configure a turnkey plant, from mechanical and electrical design to start-up;
- have a specific material flow assessed and find out which machine can process it;
- set up a feasibility study for a complete line;
- assess the revamping and remaining service life of an existing plant;
- define scheduled maintenance, original spare parts and training with MY CAMEC.
CAMEC has been designing and manufacturing at a single plant in Cittadella, in the province of Padua, since 1993. The company is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EN 1090-1, and holds an EcoVadis rating on ESG criteria.
