CAMEC CR2A Line SHEARS are machines for the disposal of ferrous and metal scrap from bulk or pressed bales, reclaimed car carcasses and aluminium. They are shredders designed specifically for the iron line and to work in particularly severe conditions and with heavy work cycles.

Most of the waste of ferrous materials derives from production, civil, industrial, artisanal, and commercial activities, such as:

  • Iron waste from industrial processing
  • Laser cutting waste sheet
  • Iron turning
  • Large containers for the oil, chemical, petrochemical and food sectors
  • Drums, buckets and cans used for packaging in general
  • Boxes / jars for food
  • Reclaimed demolition cars
  • Collection scrap

In the ferrous and metal scrap sector, where heavy and often bulky materials are also treated, the treatment of waste, certainly complex to manage, has great repercussions on the environment. The scrap is often abandoned in the environment, seriously disfiguring it.

Ferrous materials have the positive feature of being able to be recycled an unlimited number of times, with significant savings in raw materials and energy and a consequent reduction in waste, otherwise destined for landfills.

In Italy, where raw materials are mainly imported, it is undoubtedly an aspect of primary importance to be able to reprocess the waste material to obtain “secondary raw material”, i.e. that material obtained from the transformation and processing of recovered scrap to relocate it back into the production cycle (steel mills and / or foundries) avoiding, in this way, an excessive waste of raw materials.

In our age, the consumption of raw materials, directly obtained from extraction and destined to be exhausted sooner or later, has become enormous. Furthermore, the more a raw material begins to run out, the more its cost increases.

But, for CAMEC, waste material has never been a problem, but an opportunity to deploy their technical skills together with increasingly innovative technologies. For us, recycling is a choice of responsibility: less use of raw materials allows us to reduce economic waste and avoid excessive pollution of the ecosystem and a disfigurement of the environment.

Ferrous and metallic waste with CAMEC CR2A Line SHEARS can begin its recovery path that will transform it, once processed and recycled, to a new “second raw material” ready to be reintroduced into production cycle and into the market.
