Separators

Our separation systems, an integral part of our S line, are commonly installed immediately downline of the product shredding stages.
These advanced systems are designed to allow precise separation of the various types of components of the treated material.

The secret of their success lies in their ability to exploit different physical characteristics of the materials, including density, shape, particle size, and so forth. This highly specialised approach allows us to obtain excellent results in separating mixed materials, guaranteeing a high degree of purity of each separated component.

Ferrous Metal Separator

The magnetic separator automatically separates ferrous parts mixed with non-magnetic materials on conveyor belts, vibrating feeders, chutes and similar.

  • Support frame made of arc welded tubular steel
  • Modular structure in stainless steel

Electrostatic Separator

The separator is designed for dry separation of mixed loose materials; specifically, the machine is used to separate polymers with different electrostatic charges.

Inductive Current System

The inductive current system is the most widely used par excellence for dry separation of non-ferrous materials. This system is used in combination with the vibrating trough which, preceding the infeed of material to the separator belt, aerates and distributes the material towards the inductive currents.

  • Made of heavy gauge arc welded carbon steel plates complete with adequate reinforcements
  • Open style
  • Robust support structure
  • 4 flexible elements to connect the vibrating conveyor to the support structure

Magnetic Drum for Ferrous Material

This system is to be installed in a line for separation of ferrous from non-ferrous materials.

  • Heavy duty version for flow frontal operation
  • Transverse polarity magnetic field created with ferrite magnets
  • Side flanges in stainless steel: diameter 1200 mm
  • Drum supporting structure and drive unit

Dual Stage Densimetric Table

This device is expressly designed to separate light from heavy materials by exploiting the effects of combined undulatory and shaking motion. Designed to divide shredded materials of identical particle size but with different weight density.

  • Separation table
  • Fan for suspension of light material
  • Vibrators for separation of heavy material
  • Fan-cyclone-rotary valve system to load the material to be separated
  • Extractor fan for dust removal from the separation chamber to be connected to a filter
