The DRM 475 mobile shredder by CAMEC
CAMEC, to best meet the needs of its customers, has developed the DRM 475 mobile shredder, available in both tracked and hook-lift versions.
Depending on the needs of our customers, the shredder can be equipped with a fully self-propelled or hook-lift system, which allows the machine to be moved by a truck. The choice of movement method depends on the customer's available space and waste management procedures, and does not affect the shredder's performance, which remains equally satisfactory.
This model of shredder is equipped with two rotors with interchangeable blades or two rotors with integral blades, a feed hopper and a discharge conveyor belt for the shredded material, whose inclination can be adjusted according to the context of use of the machine. The machine is equipped with a screen bar, located below the blades, to regulate the size of the output material. In the version with interchangeable blades, a grid can be provided, which can be sized according to the customer's needs, to control the size of the output material.
Among the advantages guaranteed, there is also the possibility of intervening - in case of need - by replacing the blades, to keep the machine in perfect efficiency. Furthermore, in case of accidental insertion of unshreddable material into the chamber, the machine is equipped with a shock-absorbing system that stops the rotor to prevent the blades or other components from being damaged.
The possibility of replacing the blades allows to get the most out of this shredder and to use it successfully over time, without experiencing performance drops and maintaining the quality of shredding.
