Screens

Disk screens, daisy screens, rotary screens and vibrating screens are key components in recycling plants because they allow separation and sizing of solid waste, and the successive screening stage.
All wear parts of the screen are made of hardox for lower maintenance costs.

Disk screen

Disk screens are suitable for separation of large quantities of pre-shredded materials such as industrial waste, bulky waste, and biomass. They guarantee high throughput and sizing precision, the ability to carry heavy “foreign” materials and excellent wear resistance.

  • The disks are designed with a triangular shape to facilitate separation between heavy and light materials
  • The shape of the smooth disks allows rapid cleaning, because the shafts can be easily reached with high pressure jets
  • Any material that becomes wrapped around the shaft can be rapidly removed by cutting, since the build-up is easily accessible thanks to the shape of the disks

Rotary Screen

The rotary screen is a system for separating material of predetermined piece size.

Thanks to their special construction design, these machines provide high throughputs and good sizing precision, the ability to transport heavy “foreign” materials, and excellent wear resistance.

  • Robust screen support structure made of tubular members, complete with inspection gangway on both sides and access ladder
  • Under screen collection hopper and over screen feeding hopper
  • Structure composed of HEB girders and tubular members to support the screen and the belt
  • Robust arc welded cylindrical structure with bolt-on grids having different perforation sizes based on separation requirements.

Daisy Screen for Tyres

The daisy screen is an evolution of the original disk screens and it is used specifically for separating tyre rubber based on the size.

  • Chain transmission between drive shaft and idle shafts
  • Robust support structure

Vibrating screen

The vibrating screen exploits undulatory and shaking motion to separate the material from the powder/chips present in the feedstock, which is distributed uniformly over the entire surface of the vibrating screen for more effective separation in the subsequent stages.

  • Robust frame in arc-welded tubular members
  • Arc- welded trough resting on anti-vibration mounts
  • Removable perforated sheet steel panels over the entire length, fixed to the conveyor trough
  • Open Style
  • Screening table in carbon steel
