In addition, the shredder can be equipped with a series of accessories that improve its performance. Among these, the material selection screen located underneath the shredder is particularly useful, which allows to control the particle size of the output material before it is sent to the extraction belt. Thanks to the presence of this grid that acts as a filter, any fragments that during the shredding process have not reached the desired particle size cannot exit the machine. In this way, it is possible to obtain material in output from the shredder with a constant and controlled diameter.
The shredder is also equipped with a system for ejecting non-shreddable materials that are accidentally inserted into the machine: in the event that waste containing components that cannot be shredded is inserted into the shredder, the machine automatically stops the motor, interrupting the shredding process, to prevent damage to the blades or other components of the shredder. In this way, the machine is put in a position to operate at its best for a long time, always guaranteeing excellent performance.
