Daisy Screen for Tyres

The daisy screen is an evolution of the original disk screens and it is used specifically for separating tyre rubber based on the size.

Applications

Tyres Tyres
Screens

Description

The daisy screen is composed of a series of screening shafts, held by a roust frame to which are welded a series of disks having a special “daisy” shape, variable in accordance with the type of material to be processed.
The screen is located at the outlet of the primary shredding stage and it results in separation of smaller piece sizes. The screen is installed at the outlet from the primary shredding stage, where it separates smaller pieces from larger ones, discharging the screened material onto a conveyor belt that returns it to the shredder to create a continuous flow such that only the under screen piece size, decided beforehand, will progress to the next shredding cycle.
Conversely, larger pieces are returned to the shredder by means of the daisy screen and conveyor, thus creating a continuous cycle.
