Paper and cardboard are highly abrasive materials, requiring robust machines and wear-resistant components throughout the line. The CAMEC process starts from a moving floor with metering feeder that regulates bale infeed up to 10 t/h, followed by a rubber-faced metal tapes conveyor and a self-cleaning anti-wrap drum that prevents jamming. The rotary screen separates the material into fine, medium and coarse fractions, while manual sorting in the cabin refines the separation of the residual fractions.
The plant is fully customisable to meet specific throughput and output quality requirements, including extensions dedicated to cardboard treatment. An automatic configuration is also available, with an optical sorter that recognises and separates different paper types by composition and quality, increasing throughput and output purity.
