Loading the material
Conveyor with side containment panels
The material is loaded onto a three-ply rubber conveyor belt, fitted with a loading hopper and side containment panels that facilitate its conveyance towards the ferrous removal stage.
The CAMEC plant for RDF/SRF is designed to transform industrial, domestic and commercial waste into alternative fuels: RDF (Refuse-Derived Fuel) and SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel).
CAMEC RDF Shredding Plant with Primary Shredder and Secondary Shredder
The CAMEC plant for RDF/SRF is customisable according to the characteristics of the input material and the customer's needs: non-ferrous metal separators, an independent dual-sector disk screen, custom conveying systems and much more can be integrated. The material can be loaded onto the conveyor feeding the primary shredder or directly into the shredder, depending on available space.
Reduced to a homogeneous particle size, the material has ferrous metals removed and is freed of non-shreddable bodies by the Air Separator, before secondary shredding with the GS650/25 single-shaft shredder and Ø30 screen. The plant is equipped with a dust extraction system for the dust generated during shredding and separation. The resulting RDF and SRF are ready for delivery to cement plants, power plants and waste-to-energy facilities.
