PVC Profiles Plant

The plant designed by CAMEC allows shredding of PVC profiles even of considerable length, with an automated loading system and effective material separation.

PVC Profiles Plant

Description

Automatic loading, even for large-size profiles

The automatic loading system, with a horizontally developed tipper and hydraulically driven hopper, also handles PVC profiles of considerable length, and is customisable for the use of containers of different shapes and sizes. The DR450 double-rotor shredder performs primary shredding with size control on two independent lines, while an Eddy Current Separator extracts non-ferrous metals from the material.

Rigid and flexible PVC separated and ready for reprocessing

The MG400 granulator further reduces the material into homogeneous granulate, which is pneumatically conveyed, de-dusted, and checked by a metal detector to exclude residual metal contamination. Triboelectric separation isolates rigid PVC from flexible PVC and gasket rubber: the output material is clean and ready for reprocessing.

  • Horizontally developed tipper, for PVC profiles even of considerable length
  • DR450 double-rotor shredder, with a dedicated screen for each rotor
  • Eddy Current Separator for non-ferrous metals
  • MG400 granulator with a rotor configuration dedicated to PVC
  • Metal detector for final control of metal contamination
  • Triboelectric separation between rigid PVC, flexible PVC and gasket rubber
