CAMEC Tetrapak + PET Plant
The widespread use of Tetra Pak® cartons in food packaging has led CAMEC to develop a solution dedicated to shredding this material. The TR2A two-shaft shredder, in a special configuration entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel, resists the acidic liquids present in the cartons (e.g. fruit juices), ensuring shredding performance and durability even in the presence of corrosive substances.
A bar conveyor, positioned beneath the shredder, separates the liquid from the solid component, while the wash nozzles above rinse the material, aiding the separation of residual liquids. The access platform to the hopper and maintenance components is also entirely in AISI stainless steel, ensuring safe interventions and corrosion resistance at every point of the plant; the plant can also be configured for the combined treatment of Tetra Pak® and PET.
CAMEC plants dedicated to paper and cardboard are specifically designed to handle a highly abrasive material that requires very powerful machines and wear-resistant tools.
